FAQ
How Much Will My Dental Treatment Cost?
The total cost of a proposed treatment plan will vary significantly by patient. Dr. Lee will provide you with a detailed treatment plan and breakdown of costs during your consultation. This cost breakdown will include any insurance contributions and we can discuss third-party financing options and acceptable forms of payment before you proceed with treatment.
What Can I Expect As A New Patient At Covington Smiles?
All of our patients receive the star treatment and you can look forward to a completely unique experience and environment during your first visit. You will meet with Dr. Lee during your first consultation and will most likely visit the hygienist first for a thorough teeth cleaning. All new patients are treated just like family, and we take the time to get to know you and learn about your goals!
What If I Can’t Afford Treatment?
We offer competitive pricing and affordable rates for all of our treatments so that the cost of getting the treatment you need doesn’t hold you back. However, we understand that the cost of treatment can be high in some cases. We can discuss third-party financing options and insurance benefits during your consultation.
How Long Will My Treatment Take?
The length of your dental treatment will depend on several factors, including the current state of your oral health, medical history, any underlying oral health problems, and your schedule. We will put together a proposed schedule of treatments when we create your treatment plan so you will have a fair idea of how many visits you will need to accommodate for, and how long it will take for you to get the results you want.
Will I Need To Work With Other Doctors To Get The results I Want?
In some cases, we may need to refer you to an endodontist or other dental professionals in our network for advanced treatment. Dr. Lee will discuss these options with you during your consultation.
Will My Treatment Hurt?
Every patient has a different pain threshold when it comes to undergoing dental procedures and getting dental treatment. We work hard to minimize or eliminate patient discomfort and pain whenever possible. If you are concerned about the pain factor, talk to Dr. Lee about sedation dentistry services.
What If I’m Too afraid Or anxious To Get The Dental Treatment I Need?
We understand that some patients are very fearful or anxious about going to the dentist. Dr. Lee does offer oral sedation to relieve some of the fear and anxiety prior to treatment. Please talk to us if you are delaying or neglecting your dental treatment because of fear or anxiety.
